Certified quality

The name SSI stands since over 35 years for highest quality in education. SSI collaborates only with dive leaders that belong to professional dive centers. From the beginning on SSI dive centers posses a high degree of quality and professionalism.
Over the years the market has changed, the needs of the modern customers have become more demanding.  For that reason the standards in the dive centers were completely updated and extended to meet the requirements. Newly introduced hereby is the seal of quality- the DIAMOND status.
SSI dive centers that work eminently professional and with model functions get awarded with the SSI Diamond status. The following aspects are being regarded for the granting of the DIAMOND:
Philosophy and ethic, quality control, education, customer service and enthusiasm for the dive sport. We are happy that we received the DIAMOND status on the 1st of August 2008.

Shuttle service

All of our guests will be picked up for free from their accommodation for their dives or education in the area between Porto Colom and Porto Pedro.

If you stay further away but you want to take the advantage of our professional dive basis, just ask our friendly staff for the opportunity of a reasonably priced transfer.

Child care

Problem Challenge:
Mum and Dad decide to get their ticket to the underwater world by taking part in an OWD- course or being an already trained diver they want to enjoy the depths of the ocean together- but there is no one who is going to look after the kids while they are out at sea.
Our solution:
We offer a varied program for your “small ones”, including games, doing some handicrafts or- if you allow this beforehand- watch a kids movie, while you learn how to dive or explore the ocean. So you can fully enjoy your experience while you know that there is taken care of your children in a responsible way. And we even can arrange a babysitter for the evenings if you wish so.

Nitrox

You can dive with Nitrox and enjoy a longer bottom-time at our Deep-Dive-Spots.

Tank transport

It is only a short walk (100m) to the beach or the boat, but to offer you the best comfort, we will bring bottles, lead and other heavy diving gear with a car so you can start your dive relaxed and fresh.

Internet

If you want to check you emails or use the internet otherwise there is a computer available for you at the reception. You can also use your own laptop- just bring it along and you can use our LAN cord or WLAN (you’ll get the entry code at the office).

Book and DVD renting

If you just want to lay back and relax you have the opportunity to rent a DVD or a book from us to keep you entertained during the quiet times of the day and night. And if you don’t have a DVD- player it is no problem- we can sort that out too.
